Gift Ideas for Babies
December 8, 2020
Babies are SO much fun to shop for! Everything is just so cute! It can be easy to overspend for our babies when really, they don’t need a whole lot! I’ve narrowed it down to 5 practical and cute gift ideas for your baby this Christmas season. These are all either things we’ve loved or things Santa has already lined up to gift my baby boy.
Indestructible Books
Babies can chew on them, get them wet and they don’t rip! I’m so excited about these cute books for my baby’s stocking this year. Right now they are buy 2 get 1 free!
Binky and Clip
We’ve loved the Bib binky brand. My baby loves them and I love how cute and neutral they are! You can get them in dozens of colors. These 2 packs are really fun! We also have the mushie pacifier clip and it is adorable. It’s functional, so you don’t lose your binky, while still being trendy. It has almost perfect reviews! We love it.
The WubbaNub is going in my baby’s stocking this year and I can’t get over how cute the reindeer version is!
Outfit Sets and Pajamas
I am a sucker for baby clothes. I thought I would be better about not buying as many clothes with a baby boy, but I’m just as bad as I was buying for my girls! Little boy clothes have come a long way. My favorite things to dress my baby in are outfit sets. My absolute favorites are the tops and bottom sets from Lou Lou and Company. They are a dream! Don’t be scared by the price tag. They are pricey, but I’m telling you, you will want your baby to live in these for the first 3 months of their life. The newborn sets have hand and foot coverings which are a must-have so they stay warm and don’t scratch their cute face.
Amazon has some really cute 2-piece sets/pajamas that come in a wide array of colors and styles. I snagged a pair of the hunter green long sleeve with buttons and LOVE the color. They are on sale right now with the clipped coupon. Burt’s bees has some of the softest jammies ever. We love this brand too! Jammies all day every day? Yes please!
If you live somewhere cold you need this super cute and cozy footed moose snowsuit. It’s been great to have for my baby boy when we’ve been outside for holiday festivities. It’s the cutest!
Toys
I am so excited to try this with my baby! It will make tummy time so much more fun. I love how engaging and interactive it is. Such a neat idea that is sure to be a hit with my older kids too!
All baby toys end up in the mouth so these blocks are a must-have! I love the neutral color set. My baby is getting these for Christmas.
I got these mostly excited for how my older girls will help entertain baby brother with them. Such fun characters that are sure to be fun and engaging for baby.
If you know me, you know my love for Disney. How freakin’ CUTE!
Diapers
I have been an avid Huggies Diaper user for the last 7 years of having kids, but I’ve recently switched to the Kirkland brand from Costco and haven’t looked back! They are way cheaper ($0.16 compared to $0.21 for Huggies) and work just as well. I love the muted colors they come in. Seriously, give them a try!
And while we’re on the topic of diapers…you NEED this diaper bag in your life. I love mine so much! They come in so many beautiful colors. I love how you can wear them as a backpack or a messenger bag.
Those are my top items for baby this Christmas! It is so special experiencing this holiday for the first time with your baby. I’ve started the tradition of getting each of my babies a “Baby’s First Christmas” ornament from Lenox. They are timeless ornaments that are so beautiful and a wonderful keepsake. Here is the 2020 ornament I got for my son. It’s such great quality to last a lifetime!
Enjoy the holidays with your sweet little bundle of joy!
