Healthy Smoothie Kids will Love

Getting kids to eat veggies is a daily battle at our house, but I’ve found one sure-fire way to get them to eat it willingly every single time. Green smoothies! Today I’m sharing my go-to recipe for getting some greens into your child’s diet. It’s yummy and easy to whip up in no time.

I can make this using my basic Cuisinart blender.  Cuisinart SPB-10CHFR Power Blend Blender (Certified Refurbished), Chrome You don’t have to have a fancy juicer to make healthy smoothies.

Yummy Green Smoothie for Kids:

(I don’t ever measure the ingredients so this recipe is an estimate)

1 cup frozen berries

1 banana (use frozen if you want it thicker)

1 cup fresh spinach

1 4-6 oz container of yogurt

1 cup almond milk

Blend it all together! My blender isn’t the greatest at tackling frozen fruit so I have to stop, stir and start again multiple times. But it’s worth it to see your kids slurp up those greens!

If you don’t get a smoothie mustache after drinking, you’re not drinking it right!

It’s princess approved and they will be begging for more!
