Princess Party for my 3 Year Old

We had a little birthday party for my 3 year old and her cute neighbor friends. As you can imagine, it was super easy to find Disney princess themed party supplies!  We even had a surprise visitor who absolutely made my daughter’s day. At one point my daughter asked, “Belle, why are you here?” We had so many cute little princesses at our house. Here’s a recap of what we did:

  • decorated foam tiaras with peel-off foam stickers
  • played and danced with balloons
  • “find flounder” game – took turns hiding Ariel’s sidekick Flounder around the room
  • “pass the wand” game – whenever the music stopped whoever had the wand was out, but with 3 years olds, we didn’t make anyone get out 😉
  • freeze dance – this Happy Birthday Princess song was perfect for the party
  • story time with princess Belle
  • presents and cupcakes
  • princess goodie bags

The princess backdrop was from Amazon and it came with cutouts that the girls danced around with, too. They’d make good photo props attached to popsicle sticks. I found the foam tiaras from Michaels, similar ones here. The cupcake liners and toothpicks from the Dollar Tree, along with the princess crayons and rings for the goodie bags. See more party decorations linked at the end of this post.

I would totally recommend throwing your daughter a Disney princess party, as cliche as it can be! It’s been weeks since her party and my daughter has still been asking me on the daily, when is my birthday coming up??
