Friday Favorites – Summer Edition

It’s almost SUMMMMMMMER!!! I can’t even wait. Though, I’m not sure what I’m going to do with my children home 24/7. I’ve signed them up for as many camps as possible so they stay busy!

If you ask my husband, I’ve been online shopping way to much as of late. Oops! I have found some great things for summer and wanted to share some of my finds with you!

Lotion: I am not exaggerating when I say this Brazilian Bum Bum Cream is the best lotion I have ever used! It is the perfect “coconut-y” smell for summer and goes on like butter – though not greasy. A little goes a long way which is nice since the bottle is $$$. I got this as a sample from Sephora and was not expecting to love it enough to go out and buy it again, but I had to! It’s SO good!

One Piece Swimsuits: I’m always on the hunt for a high quality/affordable one piece swimsuit. Amazon has not disappointed in the swimsuit department this year! I found 2 that I absolutely love. This one shoulder tie swimsuit that has beautiful texture to it and this ruffle tie cut-out one piece is unique and fits well. Both come in a variety of colors. The bum coverage is higher cut on the one-shoulder tie, but really good full coverage on the green ruffle. I love that I can easily breastfeed and also chase my kids around the pool in these comfortably.

Sandals: I’ve never been a huge fan of Teva looking sandals, but I decided to give these a try. I’m so glad I did because they are the comfiest sandal ever. I will be wearing these all summer! I can slip them on without undoing the velcro straps which is nice too! They come in so many different colors and are way cheaper than Tevas while looking almost identical.

Hat: This beach hat is so cute, has amazing reviews, and comes in 30+ color options! A must-have hat for summer that provides shade for the face while looking super trendy. Good luck choosing a color! They are all very cute.

Apple Watch Band: I’ve been loving my new apple watch band. It is stretchy which is amazing! It’s easy to put on, you can adjust how loose or tight you’d like it, and it is comfy on the wrist. Sometimes my silicon band gets annoying after sweating in it or wearing for a long time. This one is nice!

Sunglasses: I am picky when it comes to sunglasses. They have to be comfy on the bridge of my nose and my ears. I’ve order a few different styles but returned them all except for these tortoise sunglasses. They are a steal of a price for the quality. I have never purchased name brand expensive sunglasses since I know I would break or lose them. These look high-end, but are only $14.99. Um…yes please!

Sunscreen: If you’re looking for a good smelling sunscreen this summer, Alba Hawaiian sunscreen is the best! I’ve used this for years and love it. It sprays on well and is clear. It doesn’t feel like you’re breathing in gross chemicals after spraying either. My kids and I all have sensitive skin and this stuff doesn’t irritate like some other aerosol brands. Highly recommend for the smell alone!

I am super excited to use all of these items this summer. Last summer was taken away from us a bit so let’s go all out this year and plan ALL the vacations; am I right?!
