December in a Nutshell

December flew by as it always seems to do! We packed in as many Christmas activities as we could this month. My kids are starting to expect certain traditions during Christmastime and it makes my heart happy to be creating these memories with them. I’m a little sad to see it all come to an end but grateful for the moments captured.

We did some holiday baking and had to document the adventure as seen below.

Decorated a gingerbread house: aka made a huge candy mess!
Christmas dance recitals have always been my favorite. It’s so fun seeing my girls on stage!
Took a quick train ride to the North Pole.
We had fun at 3 family parties this year. We’re lucky enough to live close to family.
Our girls were able to see Santa 5 times this year. Baby Havy hated each one just the same. This is the only Santa picture we got without her crying. Although the crying Santa pics are my favorite!
Somehow we got through the month without anyone unwrapping any presents before the big day! I don’t know how we managed that with a busy 1 year old and brand new puppy.
Girl’s trip to SLC to see the lights on temple square and Ballet West’s nutcracker. Thanks mom for the fun weekend!
Santa’s elf stayed busy all month long wrapping and assembling presents.
Sewed and shipped hundreds of bows and scrunchies. Shop here.
Unfortunately I didn’t have much time to sit and relax as cute as this sweet gingham girl. Shop these pillow covers here.
First day of Christmas break started with a tea party!
Sunday best. You can read about our beliefs here.
Finishing up the last day of our chocolate advent calendars.
Christmas Eve pajamas.
We were awake at 6:30 am ready to see what Santa brought!
It was a very Merry Christmas for these 3 girls! Looking forward to the new year with more adventures and memories!

We hope you had a Merry Christmas, too! Thanks for being here!
